The Russians and Ukraine's Counter-Offensive on June 4th

Both sides are taking attrition right now. If they take enough losses if Ukraine can isolate parts of the front, they may be able to achieve a breakthrough. I think we can honestly say that Russian forces are defending in a pretty competent manner. We're seeing a traditional maneuver defense where Russian forces at least in the south are trading space for time. Just because they've had some difficulties so far, it doesn't really tell us how the rest of the offensive would go.
