Harish Rabat was one of the nine Indian climbers who summited Everest in 1965. His ancestors scaled mountains as they helped survey India's borders in the 19th century. Their Nanda Devi team will be much smaller this time, just five Indian climbers and six Sherpas. The Americans stayed home.
