The Mixed Team Project Is Getting Results

Selma Dautily: At the beginning of the leagues, we noticed that the Muslim players were not necessarily welcomed. We noticed that the Christians were speaking their dialect which is completely unintelligible to the Muslim players who speak Arabic. But they chose to persist speaking their dialect. And then slowly, we started to see some evidence that, you know, people are just getting along a little bit better. The project was having a positive effect but Selma and her research team wanted concrete evidence that this was actually working.
