The Pros and Cons of Residency Programs

There are about six or seven states now, and others in the pipeline. The most liberal state is Missouri where you can renew that assistant physician category of license annually indefinitely. There's resistance from entrenched incumbents who see it as a threat to controlling the flow of healthcare practitioners into the workforce. But I'm among those who believe this could provide an alternative pathway to full medical licensure - unrestricted Licensure.
