How the Simulation Theory Came About
In 1989, the legendary physicist John Archibald Wheeler had this idea that the universe wasn't just matter. In 2003, Nick Bostrom from Oxford University came up with a simulation hypothesis. Then there was a suggestion later that we could be a giant quantum computer. And then in 2016, I think maybe it's the first time that Musk said it: We're most likely a simulation.
