M.S. Ready is Director-General of the Consortium behind Venice's Mosé project. Mosé is a series of barriers between the lagoon and the adriatic sea. They can be raised when an aqua altar is expected to protect the city from incoming tide. We know in advance that the high waters are coming because they come for a meteorological reason. So we have alarms approaching to the time on which we are going to rise them.
