The Effects of Volcanoes on Earth

The other kind is called a strata volcano. Strato because there is like lots of layers in it. It's like layers of magma and other kinds of rock, and so it builds up slowly. And then when the pressure builds up underneath it, then it blows. So volcanoes on earth are pretty different than volcanoes on io or on titan,. They're more alient. But they can also have big effects on climate ad. We'll talk about a few examples later on.
