The Biden Administration's Guidance on the Quiet Title Act

The court heard argued this week. Wilkins versus United States, which is a case about whether the statute of limitations in the Quiet Title Act is a jurisdictional limit or a claim processing rule. There's a chance the plaintiffs lose either way. So it's not totally clear what's at stake in this case. But I did think the oral argument gestured at this kind of interesting, like intertemporal question about earlier cases that were decided based on interpretive principles the court no longer uses.
