Brokers charge 15 % to sell a business if it's under, i believe, two million revenue. That's the size of a seed round. The reason they're able to charge that price is the're kind of only shop in town. Most brokers traditionally sell main street businesses like restaurants or laundry mats. I think brokering is just a very laborous and expensive way to sell your business at a low price.
