I've Never Had a Plantain, but I Love It!
Minatina is a member of the plantago family, also known as plantain. It's not related to bananas or true plantains, like the fruit. A perennial called scorzinera grows these long roots that are like black. And some people call it oyster root because it has the flavor of oyster. Papaloos have thicker leaves, which is easier to harvest in leavesso and papeca has shorter Leaves than salantro but more difficult to harvest so they're better for cooler climates.
