There are so many signs of progress that I think are not fit across effectively. In rich countries, especially emissions are falling and they're falling very, very fast. Low carbon technology is going to become the cheapest option as the default. And that just completely transforms where we are in terms of tackling it.

Having completed several degrees in environmental science, Hannah Ritchie nearly left the field out of helplessness and frustration, worried she would never make a real difference.
