Presidential Immunity and the Founders' Concerns

This chapter explores the interests at stake in relation to presidential immunity, including the position of the president and other Article Two interests. It argues that subjecting chief executives to prosecution after leaving office goes against the founders' concerns and the original meaning of the Constitution.
