The Effects of Social Media on Narcissism
I think social media has a tendency to bring out a very narcissistic side of us that might have remained dormant otherwise. For me personally, narcissistic tendencies make me unhappy. Relying on validation from comments and likes makes me miserable. And so as of recently, I don't want to do that at all. So anytime I'm posting a photo, it's to express myself in some way. It's to participate in the in the beast of the internet. And it's to be present on there. Because that's just the normal thing to do these days."
