The Effect of Overprotective Parents on Mental Health

The author of this article is making the argument that safety and an over-emphasis on safety is actually doing more harm than good. I think we're asking the right questions now when we used to not. People are more forthcoming with their mental state because there's less stigma around mental illness. And I also think that the world is more difficult. There are existential concerns that teenagers and young adults are facing now that they weren't before.
