I'm Allergy to Peanuts, Right?

The prevalence of peanut allergies among children more than tripled between the mid-90s and 2008. Some research has shown that it was likely because parents and schools were avoiding nuts in case any children were allergic, which in turn prevented immune systems from developing resistance. So in the analogy, the peanut is racist comments. And you have to build up your immunity to racist comments Otherwise, you'll end up being allergic.
