The Tradeoff Between My Dad and My Mom
"My dad's a very traditional dad, like in that he kind of provides like financially for the family," she says. "And so then my mom is just like, no, we need to have expectations about it." Her parents don't want her to be dependent on them as much or try and appease their daughter more than they would if she were dating someone else. But running this blog has been a big step toward being able to do what you want with your life without having to answer to anyone other than yourself.
