Is There a Right Balance of Information to Include on a Resume?

I know a lot of folks who are early in their careers, or closer to retirement, who feel like they struggle with the right balance of information to include. So specifically, someone who's older than 55, there is no like if you're 55, then you should cut everything from this point. Every situation is different. And what we should be asking ourselves is, is this experience relevant, and does this experience show that i'm qualified for my current direction, for my job?
