Lisa Bryce's Blue Devil

Lisa Bryce has had quite a diverse practice actually. At the beginning of her career she was making work in denim, work with found objects. And I think that the work that she's making at the moment is a kind of summation of all of these different elements of her practice. Her paintings refuse to be categorised, it's like adding another layer of taking away an easy reading. She uses the colour blue and thinks about her deep ties to Trinidad.
