What a Gift!
The people of Israel would inscribe their own names on the stone of their homes. And so here they are covering their names with the blood of the lamb. This is the exact same thing that happens to us in the Eucharist. We eat the flesh of the Lamb of God and we drink its blood. It gives us freedom and it gives us life.
