When is the right time for a founder to step to one side and appoint a co to run the company? There is a couple of ways to answer that. You've got to be good at not only using crowbars, but hoists. You have to have all kinds of different skills. And people who are great at start ups are great at that. But it's very, very common for the person who was the unbelievable star during the searching phase is struggling during the repeat and scaling phase. It could happen as you go from ten to a hundred employees. It may even not happening till you go from a thousand to ten thousand. Not that stritma am driding sots.
