The Past Leaves Us So Quickly
The book is written in quite complicated english. i'm going to read a little bit and then try to, let's say, translate it into more simple english as well. So the first part is, we never keep to the present. We anticipate the future as if we found it too slow in coming and were trying to hurry it up. Or we recall the past as if to stay its too rapid flight. I guess what this is saying is we're always thinking, expecting, anticipating future. But in reality, the future will come.
