God has been doing this in his story in order to demonstrate and put on display what his righteousness looks like. He did this as in God, prison and Christ as a sacrifice of a tome. And he's going to be the one that pronounces exoneration to those who trust the story. So as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
