I get the sense that you both kind of like functional programming. I mean, I don't think we're with zealots. There are two ways to manage change and there is sort of like a Ui paradigm which will allow everything to change. You need to be able to talk to an object and say not only what is your state, but tell me when it changes. That's one way of programming And I think um, you know object-oriented programming grew up Um to support Modeling in similar But there's another whole strand of programming which is really based around sort of data and calculations Which is where you say um We are Nothing changes if nothing.
