The Dollar Is Not Going to Disappear Any Soon
The US dollar represents around 50% of global official reserves down from 73% in 2001. Bloomberg points out the dollar's role as an international currency won't be challenged anytime soon. The persistence of conditions like, for instance, the large liquid financial markets in dollars is not preordained and there may come at a time when the rest of the world actively avoids using it.
