The Importance of Typology in the Christian Tradition
Post-enlightenment, there was some trending that would minimize the supernatural realities of the scripture. And it also had implications on things like typological reading of scripture which had been so rooted in the great tradition of church history. So yeah, I do think I do think the minimizing of divine authorship and the elevation of human authorship has some serious hermeneutical implications.
