Winter kills was released in 19 79 by embassy pictures and made just over a million bucks at the box office, less than one sixth of its budget. The cast agreed that they would continue working onth movie for free. Someone snitched to the actors union, and they shut down the entire production, forcing it to declare bankruptcy. It revels in its every degrading scene. One feels a little less clean just having seen this picture.
