The Love in Spoonful and It Ain't Me Babe
The group weren't happy with the idea of being protest singers. They didn't think it made sense for them to be posing as angry politicised rebels. As soon as they got back to LA, they told Bones How and the executives at White Whale that they were going to be good time music just like The Love in Spoonful. That did relatively well, making the top 30, well enough for the group to rush out an album - but there was a significant drop-off between It Ain't Me babe and Let Me Be.
