The Conservative Party Is Bleeding Support From the Under 60s
The party is bleeding support from the under 60s, especially people who want to own a home. They know that there aren't enough houses being built and it's sort of like, can they not see that if there was planning reform, then you could build more homes? The problem for the contemporary Conservative Party is this sort of conflict or bind that they've put themselves into. As they have gotten older, Sam Friedman recently wrote a very interesting piece on this in his blog, Commentus Freed. And now as those people have aged, they have just become the pensioner party.
