The Role of Saturated Fat Intake in Heart Disease

In the seven country study we have this range of 3% all the way up to 24%. We can look at this in terms of mapping that onto changes in blood cholesterol and then mapping that onto coronary heart disease. Beyond that, I think to go back to something we said earlier in the episode, we noted that one of the difficulties is when we're looking at saturated fat and then heart disease as an outcome. This is a question that is primarily going to have to be answered by epidemiology.
