What's Missing, Who's Lost, What Was Lost?

At the memorial now, there are no names. There's a statue at the center depicting me, three and a half years old, being carried,. And that's it. But what's miss in is my mam's name, the name of the 111 other people who died., even the names of the people who are on the plain. It doesn't tell the multitudes of what happened that day. The way that all our names are unique, that can be encountered by someone who doesn't know the person. If we never learn to have ampathy for the name of a person whom we didn't even know, then we're actually very limited in how quickly we can move forward with
