Mary Lou's Teaching of Shakespeare

Sasli: Mary Lou gave me a real role out of a made with two lines up to something in some bedroom with someone. I remember studying sonnets with Mary Lou and she would say look at the first word and the last word of the sentence that's what the sonnet is about. She really broke everything down and a couple things that really have always stuck with me. Just the way I now approach all texts from sketch comedy fart jokes to Shakespeare to Jane Wagner it makes you really respect the writing so much more.
