The Different Types of Mind Games
Mind games are also found in what we call in psychology as defense mechanisms. A defense mechanism for instance is like intellectualization and it's a process in which content is separated from the repressed effect. There's also asceticism and it's characterized by rigor and self-denial. Once again these are defense mechanisms that people hide behind.
