The History of the Jewish People
The Jewish people frequently would find themselves under the thumb of various oppressors. Women were put into desperate situations because they were defenseless against these boars and brutes who were abusing their tyrannical power. The Bible is not simply giving a kind of Thucydidean report on just the facts of what occurred it's also depicting from the human standpoint what was revealed about God's relationship with humanity through events that happened to the Jewish people true events real things that actually happened.
