Self Doubt

I want to talk about self doubt. When you're writing things and you're kind of halfway down, you're starting to go like, God, is this all just shit? Like this is just terrible. I don't know why we're all hardwired that way. The most grandiose people are the least talented. And they have no idea what they're talking about. How really rigorous it is. Mary Carr threw away 1200 pages of lit. That's three or four whole books before she published lit. Rosie Walsh was ghosted, which was a huge bestseller international. She threw away 40,000 words three times. This was her editor going, not there yet.
