The Role of Lymphocytes in Pleural Fluid
It's important to remember that just a little bit of blood in the pleural fluid can make it look very bloody. A bloody appearance of the fluid can most often be from an inflammatory effusion, sometimes a malignant effusion. An eosinophilic pleural effusion is usually when there's more than 10% of eo-sensors in the fluid. Monty: What are you thinking about with a lymphocyte predominance in the cell count for this patient?Monty: I think TB should also be considered.
