The immigration laws of the 19 sixties and 19 seventies were targeting people within british nationality. I mean, it's largely very similar to the kind of tactics that are used to day, right? In terms of canaa, excluding and rejecting whole swathes of people who are racialized in different ways. You know, the sort of irreducible minimum of a nationality is the ability to live and work in your own country. And seemingly, britain was violating that principle.
