The Great Resignation Is When People Are Forced to Quit
The people in the service sector who were forced to quit are the ones who are actually the great resigners. When those jobs come back to them, they're quitting them but not just quitting to do nothing. They're quitting to go take a different job. And what I feel is sort of like we need to take that lesson, which I think Stuart Butterfield embodies so well. The first time he was forced to quit, and that caused him to explore and go and he sees Flickr. The second time he didn't wait till he was forcedto quit. It's really hard to have that mental space, right? Exactly.
