Jones Day's Family Leave Policy Is Unlawful
Two former associates of Jones Day have filed a lawsuit against the law firm. Mark Savanak and Julia Shekatoff say they were fired for complaining about their parental leave policy. They claim it discriminates on the basis of gender specifically reverse discrimination because they discriminate against men. Julian Zelizer: This is not the look you want when you're trying to recruit young women or men who might one day want to have families to your firm.
