Sugar and Highly Processed Grains Are Not Addicting
There are long chains of starch which breaks down into sugar. They actually partially activate the opiate receptor in the human brain and give positive feedback both with the opiate receptors and with dopamine and perhaps even oxytocin as well. I think there's ample evidence to assume that highly processed grains are quite habit forming and addictive as well. So you challenge another central tenant that salt is something that is okay to eat and we should not salt our foods. But there's other people who say salt is addictive and that is addictive, so what's your comment about salts and fats?
