Reversal of Cis-Etricurium
Cis-etricurium was used in the big study that showed advantage and mortality benefit to neuromuscular blockade and severe ARDS. You definitely want to reverse whatever you've used with neostigmine or something, another acetylcholine esterase inhibitor. The common thing that we're taught is give 5 milligrams of neostig mine and 1 milligram of glycopyrate. But a little bit of an overdose of the glycopyrates will get tachycardia from that dose.
