What Does Darkness Mean to You?

There was one word that kept coming back throughout your poems, not just tin primeval, but also in a book before, and that's the word dark. So i'm wondering what darkness means to you, and an what it generates. O i hated the use of like dark and light and black white binaries. I couldn't i always found them to be quite false. And no, i don't see things as bright and white as sights of salvation or a yes. Because after having lived on the texas pan handle, where the sun bears down on youco i want to say, cruelly, but cruel in its indifference n whatever's happening to you,. hum.
