The Importance of Revival
Skylar Moore: I've been sitting on this for about 20 years now, why is it that the civil rights movement is not considered a revival? In 1957, you had Christians from the South, predominantly Black, who came together to say, we want to save the soul of America. And so when you look at a revival, you have these young people, predominantly young people of color as well as older leaders. We forget that Dr. King was only 39.
