Introduction

Alexander's cyclical theory of sub cultures posits movements go through four phases, pre cycle, rowth, involution and post cycle. As long as there's new people joining the movement, it takes on characteristics of a status pansey scheme. But like all pansey schemes, eventually you run out of new people. All the people granting status expect to receive status, and there are no new entrances to provide it. The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved. Part one.
