Twists and the Church of England

He saw himself as part of an effort in many ways to protect Britain and Europe from what was seen as some of the radical fallout from the French Revolution. Benjamin Disraeli introduced him in 1848 to Prince Metanik, who had been the Chancellor of the Austrian Empire at the time. The two of them formed a very close friendship metanik and twist twists when metanik moved back to Germany. They remained close until 1859 so for 11 years to 1859 when meetanik died.
