Is There Religiosity in Religion?
I think there are, there's religiosity in republican thinking and democratic thinking. Most people see the pursuit of truth as going out and getting more information that confirms their biases. I agree with your point that I think we might just be religious animals. We all are sort of vulnerable to this idea of falling into tribe or herd mentality. And yeah, the religious thing is just on a personal thing,. definitely was raised Christian then went through a deconstruction phase in my teens, early 20s. But now mid 30s, I've kind of come full circle and like, wait, there's all kinds of things in this structure that matter a lot to civilization.
