i grew up with music in the baptist church, and so that was a real, a first love of mine, music. My dad would put me in my place, right in the middle of church, you know. And i had to really fight, really grab on to my own ability to look at the world in a more grey way. I revisited it in my twenties when i was always staring out the window.
Kevin Costner (@modernwest) is an internationally renowned filmmaker. He is considered one of the most critically acclaimed and visionary storytellers of his generation. Costner has produced, directed, and/or starred in such memorable films such as Dances with Wolves, JFK, The Bodyguard, Field of Dreams, Tin Cup, Bull Durham, Open Range, Hatfields & McCoys, and Black or White, among many others. He has been honored with two Academy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, and an Emmy Award.
