I actually assumed, apparently incorrectly that the goal was to make a new OS for people to actually run like applique like server. So this is also something I didn't really like appreciate about stuff at oxide at first until I actually had taken the cloud filler job. It's kind of very much like a digital ocean style. Like you pick an image, you boot it up as a VM and then you can do whatever you want in it. That stuff is still running through a Lumos and beehive - which if you are not familiar with is kind of like saying Linux plus KVM unless you're a super big fan of some stuff.
