The interesting part about the return to German idealism from a psychoanalytic perspective is that you have to read the language stuff back into German idealism because it's really not a central element until maybe you get to Hegel. The romantics make a much bigger deal of language and by the time you're at Lacan language linguistics and the so Syrian understanding of languages is crucial it's been deeply incorporated into the Psychoanalytic method. I think I'd like to bring bring back some of this structural analysis of language to the to the public discourse these days, he says.
