I'm a believer in small cap value as a buy and hold investment. But you also have to step back and say, gee, that's not been the right asset class for the last few years,. You've been much better off in large cap growth. I think what what I sort of derived from that is that this is a pretty good time, right? If indeed, we're turning those type of conditions where we have inflation, where we have the Fed trying to fight inflation by creating recessions. Before returning that type of volatility, I think this type of crisis based approach could be useful.
