Levels of Moral Virtue and the Role of Reason, Passions, and Will
This chapter discusses different levels of moral virtue and how they relate to reason, passions, and will. The first level is the virtuous person who does the right action promptly, easily, and joyfully. The next level is the continent or self-disciplined person who struggles to do the right action despite having disordered passions. Lastly, the chapter mentions the weak person who also has disordered passions but lacks a strong will.
